祐一	そうかもしれないけど、どうして俺がおまえのタイヤキを盗まなきゃならないんだ！	That may be true, but why would I steal your taiyaki?
あゆ	えっと、それは・・・　おいしそうだったから！	Umm, that's because.... they looked delicious!
祐一	はー！？	Huh?!
あゆ	あまりにもタイヤキがおいしそうだったから、つい食べてしまったんだよ。　うん、ボクにもよく分かるよ、その気持ち・・・　タイヤキの魅力に心を奪われて、ついお金を払い忘れることと同じだよね？	The taiyaki looked so delicious that you couldn't help but eat them all. Mmmm... Those are feelings I understand only too well. You were so captivated by the taiyaki that you forgot to pay for them. Just like me!
祐一	ていっ！	Hmph!
あゆ	うぐぅ、うう、どうしてぶつんだよ！	Ugyu--! Why'd you hit me?!
祐一	食い逃げ娘と一緒にするな！	Don't lump me with a dine-and-dash girl like you!
あゆ	でも、今朝、家をでるときにはたしかにあったんだよ。秋子さんも名雪さんも帰ってきてないし、ボクが帰ってきたら、祐一くんしか家にはいないし。	But, when we left this morning they were definitely there. Akiko-san and Nayuki-san haven't come back yet. But when I came back, there was no one but you in the house.
祐一	だから、俺が帰ってきた時にはもうなかったんだって。大体、俺が盗った証拠だってないだろ？	Like I said, when I came back they were already gone. Besides, there's no evidence that I took them, right?
あゆ	わかったよ、祐一くん！	Very well, Yuuichi-kun!
祐一	は？	Huh?!
あゆ	祐一くんが盗った動かぬ証拠を見つけ出せばいいんだね？　どうやら、また出番のようだね。	All I have to do is find some hard evidence of you taking them, right? Seems like it's that time again.
祐一	なんの？	For what?
あゆ	名探偵だよ。	The Great Detective.
祐一	またか・・・	Not again...

あゆ	推理の第一歩はまず現場検証からだね。	The first step of deduction is to examine the scene of the crime.
祐一	現場って・・・　テーブルの上に皿が一枚置いてあるだけだろ？	Scene of the crime? It's just a plate on top of the table, right?
あゆ	ふむ・・・　ダイイングメッセージは残っていないようだね。	Hmmm... It seems no one left a dying message.
祐一	相変わらず意味が分かっていないだろ、おまえ・・・	And, like always, you don't know what that means, do you?
あゆ	テーブルには、お皿に乗ったタイヤキが置いてあった。　そこに祐一くんが学校から帰ってきた。　学校から帰ったばかりで祐一くんはお腹が減っていたに違いない。　だから・・・ 「ただいま！　ああ、ハラ減ったなー、あ！　こんなところにちょうどタイヤキが置いてあるぞ！　美味そうだなー。　あゆのかな？　ふーむ、いいよな？　一口くらいもらっても。　パクパク。　やっぱりタイヤキはおいしいなー。モグモグ。　ああ、おいしい！　あ！　しまった！　気がついたら、全部食べちゃったよ。　まあいいか、ぴろのせいにでもするか！」となるわけか・・・　祐一くん、ボクの推理によれば、犯人はこの中にいる！	On the table there was a plate of taiyaki. And then, Yuuichi-kun came home from school.　And since he just came home from school, he would be hungry, to be sure. And so... 'I'm back! Ah, I'm hungry! Ah! How convenient that someone left a plate of taiyaki here! It looks delicious! Maybe it's Ayu's! Hmm... Well, it's all right if I just take one bite, right? Chomp! Taiyaki tastes so good! Chomp, chomp! Ahh, delicious! Ah! Oh no! I ate them all before I realized it! Oh well! I'll just blame it on Piro or something!' And so... Yuuichi-kun! Based on my deductions the culprit is here with us!
祐一	いまのどこが推理なんだ！	How was that supposed to be deduction?!
あゆ	やっぱり祐一くんが犯人だよ！	Yuuichi-kun's the culprit after all!
祐一	だからどうしてそうなるんだ？	Like I said, how can that be?
あゆ	もう言い逃れはできないよ。しかもぴろの所為にするなんて酷すぎるよ！	You can't talk your way out of this any more! And blaming it on Piro is just too cruel!
祐一	ただのおまえの想像じゃないか！　どこに証拠があるんだよ。　まったく、もう付き合ってらんないよ。	That was just your imagination! Where was the evidence? Geez. Why do I bother with you...
あゆ	あ、祐一くん、どこいくの？　あ、わかった！　名探偵に追い詰められたから、海が見える崖で罪を告白する気だね？	Ah, Yuuichi-kun! Where are you going? Ah, I know. You were cornered by the Great Detective and now you have no choice but to confess your crimes on a cliff overlooking the sea!
祐一	テレビじゃあるまいし、部屋に帰って寝る！	This isn't a TV show. I'm going back to my room to sleep!
あゆ	祐一くん！　・・・祐一くん、怒っちゃったのかな？　でも、ボクの推理は間違っていないと思うんだけどなぁ・・・　念のため、もう一回現場検証をしてみようかな。	Yuuichi-kun! Maybe he got angry. But I don't think my deduction was wrong. Just in case, let's examine the scene of the crime again.
あゆ	テーブルには、お皿に乗ったタイヤキが置いてあった。そこに祐一くんが学校から帰ってきた。　学校から帰ったばかりで祐一くんはお腹が減っていたに違いない。　だから・・・ 「ただいま！　ああ、腹減ったなー。　あ！　こんなところにちょうどタイヤキが置いてあるぞ！」ってやっぱり、ボクの推理に間違いはないと思うんだけどな。	On the table there was a plate of taiyaki. あゆ	あっ！	Oh!
秋子	あ、ただいま。	I'm home.
あゆ	お帰りなさい、秋子さん！	Welcome back, Akiko-san!
秋子	どうしたの？　お皿なんか眺めて。	What's wrong? Why are you staring at that plate?
あゆ	推理の途中なんだよ。	I'm in the middle of deduction.
秋子	推理？	Deduction?
あゆ	うん、帰ったら、お皿に乗せておいたタイヤキがなくなってたんだよ。	Yeah. When I got back, the taiyaki I left on the plate wasn't there any more.
秋子	そういえば、今朝おいてありましたね。	Oh, that's right, they were there this morning.
あゆ	だから、誰がボクのタイヤキを取ったのかを推理していたんだけど、祐一くんが犯人・・・　あれ？　これ、なんの跡だろう？　お皿があったところに続いてる・・・	That's why I was trying to deduce the person who took my taiyaki - and I found that Yuuichi-kun's the - huh? What's this trail? It continues here where the plate was.
秋子	猫の足跡みたいですね。	It looks like a cat's footprints.

祐一	あー、秋子さん、どうしたんですか？	Ahh, Akiko-san! What is it?
秋子	あゆちゃんがお話があるそうですよ。	It seems like Ayu-chan has something to say to you.
祐一	あゆが？	Ayu does?
あゆ	うぐぅ～	Uguu～...
祐一	何度も言うけど、俺は　おまえのタイヤキなんて　知・ら・な・い！	No matter how many times you ask, I don't know what happened with your taiyaki
あゆ	ごめん、祐一くん！	I'm sorry, Yuuichi-kun!

あゆ	真犯人が分かったんだよ。	I found out the real culprit.

祐一	いいよ、もう。　まあ、危うくグレて家を飛び出るところだけど。	It's okay. Even though I was in danger of becoming a delinquent and would've had to run away from home.
あゆ	本当に悪かったと思ってるよ。　だから・・・これ！	I felt like it was really bad of me, so... here!
祐一	なんだ、そのタイヤキは？	What's with the taiyaki?
あゆ	お詫びに買ってきたんだ。	I bought them for you.
祐一	はは、そうか。でもよく分かったじゃないか。	Eheh... I see. But, I'm impressed that you found out.
あゆ	は？　なにを？	Huh? What?
祐一	犯人だよ。　まあ、一応、名探偵だな。時間はかかったけど。	The culprit. Well, I guess this time you really were a Great Detective, even though it took some time.
あゆ	うん。でもね、秋子さんがヒントをくれたから分かったんだよ。	Yeah. But you know, it was because Akiko-san gave me a hint that I got it.
祐一	え？	Huh?
秋子	いえ、私はちょっと手伝いしただけですから。	Oh no, I helped out only a little bit.
あゆ	そうかな？	Really?
秋子	だって、名探偵にはつきものですよね、そういう人。	That's because with every Great Detective, comes someone like me...
祐一	どう言う人です？	What do you mean?
秋子	・・・助手ですよ。	A sidekick.
